The 15th National Games and the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games will be co-hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in November and December 2025 respectively. This is the first time for the National Games to be co-hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, which is of great significance and is in line with the objectives of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to build a bay area for leisure and shape a healthy bay area.
