Principal and Vice-Principals


Ms. Chan Yuk Yin (MEd, MA, BA, PGDE)

Ms. Chan has long been dedicating herself to education for over 30 years. She had served in various key positions including Vice-Principal, School Administrator, Coordinator of Academic Committee, and Coordinator of School Affairs before joining Elegantia College in 2007 and has served as Panel Head of Chinese Language Department, Coordinator of Academic Committee and Vice-Principal (Learning and Teaching) until her recent appointment as The Principal. Well-versed in school administration and management, she has made major contributions to a range of major areas of concern such as school academic development and curriculum design. In recognition of her professional integrity and excellence, she is frequently invited to serve as guest speakers on topics regarding curriculum interpretation, curriculum design and promoting reading in numerous lectures and workshops throughout the educational community.


Assistant Principal

Mr. Cheung Chun Pong (BSc, MPhil, PGDE)

Mr. Cheung has over 20 years of teaching experience and is one of the founding teachers when Elegantia College was established in 2002. Prior to this position, he was the Mathematics Panel Chairperson. He has long been the Academic Affairs Section Chairperson, focusing on setting up the required teaching-learning culture and procedures in helping students to achieve their best academic results. He has also been invited by different schools to share his experience in managing the Mathematics Panel and leading the chairpersons of different subjects to improve the students’ academic results.

Assistant Principal

Mr. Chan Man Chung (BSc, PGDE, MPhil)

Having been in the field of education for more than twenty steadfast years, Mr. Chan has taken up various administrative posts and has been focusing particularly on moral and civic education. He has been involved in numerous researches and studies on moral and positive education courses with the Education University of Hong Kong and many other NGOs and educational organizations. Mr. Chan is fully committed to the development and promotion of positive education for students’ well-being. In 2019, he became the winner of the “Convergence: 1st Award for Outstanding Life Education Teaching Plan”, launched by the Centre for Religious and Spiritualty Education of the Education University of Hong Kong.

Assistant Principal

Ms. Leung Wai Kwan (BA, PGDE, MA)

Backed by more than two decades of highly commendable frontline service, Ms. Leung’s unparalleled expertise in teaching and learning, as well as administrative management is all but tried-and-true. Currently in charge of the Studies Committee and the English Panel, she has long been devoting herself to bringing innovations to pedagogy and the curriculum, and advancing teachers’ professional development. In recognition to her accomplishments, Ms. Leung has been invited to various sharing sessions to bring her robust experience in ELT and panel administration to numerous teachers and education professionals; she has also taken a prominent role in the progressive development of LACC with the CUHK for comprehensive school-based implementation.
